Fight at South Lake Tahoe bar sends owner and patron to hospital

A fight in a South Lake Tahoe local bar early Sunday morning resulted in two people seriously injured with the bar owner hurt and a patron knocked unconscious to the point of needing CPR.
South Lake Tahoe police responded to Mo's Place in the 3600 block of Lake Tahoe Boulevard at 12:36 a.m. with a fight reported between patrons and bar security, authorities said. When officers arrived, they learned that the business owner had been punched and knocked unconscious by a patron who had been asked to leave the establishment due to unruly conduct.

Keep your neighborhood clean by properly disposing of unwanted trash items in your garage, backyard or neighborhood. Participate in Clean Tahoe’s Annual Community Cleanup Day, Saturday, June 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Drop off furniture, tires and appliances to the South Tahoe Refuse Transfer Station for a discounted price of $5 per truckload. The event is also open to Nevada residents, who can dump their junk for $10 a truckload.

World's Longest Bicycle Parade at Lake Tahoe

South Lake Tahoe made history on May 17, 2012. In honor of National Bike to Work Day the Slow Rollers organization have, unofficially, and more than likely made the Guinness Book Of World Records for holding the world's longest bicycle parade. Monday, June 11 will be the South Shore Community Blood Drive hosted by Barton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary at Embassy Suites Hotel from noon to 6 p.m. Come and support the Auxiliaries 46th anniversary for holding the community activity for all these years.
