Event Date:
May 26, 2015 - 4:00pm The California Tahoe Conservancy will host an open house at the El Dorado County Public Library in South Lake Tahoe (1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.) to gather public input regarding reuse of the former Alta Mira building site. The primary purpose of the project is to enhance public lake front access within the El Dorado Beach corridor.
Members of the public are invited to stop by the library anytime between 4-6 pm to view concept drawings, ask questions and provide feedback.
El Dorado Beach at Lakeview Commons forms the heart of the South Lake Tahoe community. The State of California’s acquisition of the former Alta Mira building site at 3339 Lake Tahoe Blvd. provides an important gateway through which the public can access this treasured area. The Conservancy welcomes public comment regarding how to best utilize our new community asset.
Established in 1984, the mission of the Tahoe Conservancy is to lead California’s efforts to restore and enhance the extraordinary natural and recreational resources of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
