Regular hours to resume at Forest Service Incline Village office

Regular hours will return to the Incline Village office of the the U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management on Feb. 1. Staffing changes had shortened the hours since Jan. 11. Normal hours of operation are Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
The North Shore office issues wilderness permits for Desolation Wilderness, as well as national recreation passes, including the Access, Senior and Annual Interagency passes. It also sells maps and offers hiking, biking, backpacking, off-highway vehicle and other recreation information for Lake Tahoe.
