Two South Lake Tahoe financial advisors form new partnership

Nicholas Abelow, a South Tahoe High graduate, has been named partner at Abelow, Pratt & Associates, LLP. He will be partnered with long time local financial advisor Roger Pratt.

To celebrate the new partnership, the Tahoe Chamber will have a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 4 p.m. There will be a cocktail party to follow until 6 p.m. at the office which is located at 595 Tahoe Keys Blvd Suite A-4 in South Lake Tahoe,

Roger Pratt, LPL Financial Advisor, has over 45 years experience in the financial service industry after starting on Wall Street as a trainee with Paine Webber in 1969. Since then he worked in securities with Dean Witter, Stanley Morgan and Ameriprise Financial as well as in banking at Union Bank, MidCities National Bank, Bank of Orange County and Pacific State Bank.

Nicholas Abelow, a resident of South Lake Tahoe, has been in the financial services business during his almost 10 years at Ameriprise Financial. His leadership skills supersede his reputation as the captain of the South Lake Tahoe High School football team as well as the ski team.

Abelow is an active member of the Carson City Rotary Club as well as involved locally with Tahoe Regional Young Professionals. Nic, being a true Tahoe kid, loves everything our great home has to offer.

Pratt is actively involved in the community having served as president of the local Rotary Club. Active sailor at OCSC Sailing in Berkeley, member of Windjammers Yacht Club SLT, and member of Edgewood Men's Club.
