Chamber kicks off new Tech Tuesday Workshop series

Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 5 from 8-9:30am, TahoeChamber will kick-off a new workshop series, Tech Tuesdays. These one and half hour workshops will cover the hottest trends in technology.

The series opener will touch on the basics of Social Media and will be taught by Jenn Gleckman of Strategic Marketing Group. Jenn is very well versed in strategic planning, integrated media planning and buying, website development and maintenance, social media programs, and email marketing programs.

Attendees can expect an overview including tips & tricks for using the “big” social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram. Jenn will also cover the importance of having a social media marketing strategy.

Tech Tuesdays will take place the first Tuesday of every month in the TahoeChamber Conference Room located at 169 US HWY 50.

Courses will start at 8 a.m. Guests should bring their laptops and questions, and be ready to learn. Subsequent courses will cover Smart Phones, Microsoft Outlook, Blogging, E-Commerce and more. Visit the www.TahoeChamber.org event calendar for the most up-to-date information.
