Submitted by paula on Mon, 03/07/2016 - 8:16am
The next Tahoe Talks, the series of community forums sponsored by Tahoe Metropolitan Planning Organization and its partners, will be focused on how South Lake Tahoe homeowners can work with the City and Tahoe Regional Planning Agency on accomplishing home projects.
Speakers will give an overview of new and improved processes in City and TRPA Code that help homeowners make changes to their homes and properties. Staff members from the City of South Lake Tahoe and TRPA staff will talk about recent changes to streamline permitting, changes to the vacation home rental ordinance, the application process, and how Area Plans and a new look at development regulations are simplifying the process for homeowners.
Tahoe Talks have an interactive format where attendees can ask questions to better understand the subject.
The venue has changed for this talk, and has moved to the Lake Tahoe Community College's Creekside Room. It will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
