Two local basketball coaches have put together a new program, on that will give South Lake Tahoe area boys in grades three through eight the opportunity to take their game to the next level. The 10-week Spring Session goes until June 18.
Elevation Elite is putting together a team of players who will travel and participate in five different tournaments. The tentative schedule includes games at the Hardwood Palace: April 23, 30 and May 14, South Lake Tahoe Memorial Day Tournament: May 28-30, and the Lake Tahoe Championships June 17-19, 2016.
Even though practice starts this week, sign-ups are still being taken.
Practices will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (there will be no practice during the LTUSD Spring Break starting April 11).
Total fee for 2016 Spring Session is $275.00. This fee includes ALL tournament entry fees and uniforms. There are also affordable payment plans available.
This team is for students from both sides of the state line.
If interested, contact either of the two coaches:
David Finnegan (a math teacher at STHS and assistant Varsity basketball coach) is the main coach. Finnegan: 209-648-2646. david@elevationelite.net.
