City of South Lake Tahoe seeks community members for its transformational change committee

The City of South Lake Tahoe is currently accepting applications for community
members to join the newly formed transformational change sub-committee. This committee is focused on developing second and third economies for Tahoe in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
The committee is proposing to bring together a diverse and innovative group of community stakeholders, thought leaders, and experts to implement policies, programs, and projects today that will have long term beneficial impacts for South Lake Tahoe over the next 50 years.
Projects that this committee would help shape today includes anything that has long term impacts for the community, including, but not limited to; transportation, broadband, redevelopment, education arts & culture,
job training, sustainable recreation, climate change, economic development, industry creation, entrepreneurship, housing, infrastructure, major capital projects, and more.
The City is seeking community members with expertise within these general areas, but anyone interested in participating is encouraged to apply.

Applications can be submitted here and are due on Monday, April 20 at 5:00 p.m. PST. The first committee meeting will take place the last week of April.
