A 61-year-old Carnelian Bay woman has been arrested on suspicion of embezzling more than $850,000 from a business in Incline Village.
Washoe County sheriff's deputies say Pamela Kircher was arrested Thursday in the case involving an Incline Village business. She is accused of embezzling the money over a seven-year period.
Investigators declined to identify the business, but say Kircher most recently worked as a housekeeper at various locations in Incline Village. The victims became suspicious of Kircher late last year and contacted the Sheriff’s Office to investigate.
Following the investigation, Kircher was arrested and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on charges of Embezzlement, Theft and Falsifying Accounts.
Since she worked as a housekeeper at various locations throughout Incline Village, detectives are concerned that there may be additional victims according to a Washoe County Sheriff's Office press release.
Anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Kircher, or who may have information useful to this investigation, is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
