Join the fun and festivities at the annual 4th of July Parade in South Lake Tahoe, an event that promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The City of South Lake Tahoe has extended an invitation to everyone to participate: Individuals, businesses, sports groups, philanthropy groups, schools, neighborhoods, clubs...you name it. Floats are highly encouraged.
“We are so excited to be bringing the 4th of July Parade back to the City of South Lake Tahoe,” said Chris Fiore, communications manager for the City .“Year after year this event has brought thousands of people together to celebrate our independence, our veterans, and the wonderful people and organizations that make our City great."
Applications are now being accepted to be a part of the parade. There is no entry fee but an application is required to participate which assists in the planning and execution of the parade.
Applications are available online at www.cityofslt.us/4thofJulyParade and are due by June 14, 2019. Completed applications will be sent to parade@cityofslt.us.
“We want this to be the biggest and best year yet, and we can’t do that without you,” said Fiore. “Get your application in, get your float making materials out, and let's celebrate the 4th of July, South Lake Tahoe style!”
More information about the parade will be available soon. Check the City website and City social media pages for up to date information.
