Kingsbury Grade to close next Friday for continuing investigation (Canceled)

9:00 p.m. update: NHP has canceled this closure.
STATELINE, Nev. - The Nevada Highway Patrol, along with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, will be closing State Route 207 (Kingsbury Grade) on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. between Tramway Drive and Foothill Road.
They will be conducting a follow-up investigation to last Friday's arrest of a triple homicide suspect. A Douglas County Sheriff's sergeant was shot in the hand, and suspect Stefon Jefferson was grazed by a bullet during an exchange of gunfire prior to Jefferson's apprehension.
