SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Even though they have been offering online services during the COVID-19 spurred closure, the South Lake Tahoe Library knows how much people enjoy a good book and turning the pages of excitement, knowledge, passion, and interest.
The South Lake Tahoe Library is now offering curbside pickup by appointment. Place a hold using their web site www.eldoradolibrary.org or give them a call at 530-573-3185.
You can request books, magazines, DVDs, audiobooks, Book Clubs in a Bag, music CDs, storytime kits - you name it. They have an abundance of materials in six libraries across the County, and are ready to get them to you!
Once you place your request, and the item is processed, you will receive an email or phone call stating that your hold is ready for pickup. Follow the link in the email to schedule a pickup time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the library.
Heads up, the library building and book drop are still closed, so please hold on to your items until they are able to accept them. Be assured, they have extended due dates and canceling fees at this time.
Know that the staff of the South Lake Tahoe Library is missing you all, and they can't wait to see you again soon.
