Event Date:
May 27, 2018 - 2:00pm
Come and share in a powerful afternoon celebration at Unity at the Lake: Honoring the Past – Creating the Future, Dancing with the Ancestors with Masankho Kamsisi Banda, and African Healer on Sunday, May 27.
This will be a time of remembering, celebrating and honoring those who have gone before with a wonderful combination of Interplay, storytelling, dance and African ritual. Unity at the Lake says it is appropriate for us to have this time of reflection. Combine it all into a powerful ritual that heals the body and unlocks the spirit.
This will be a time to share songs, stories, dances and instrumental music. The event will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the church, located at 870 Emerald Bay Road Suites 204-207.
If you play an acoustic instrument and can improvise you are welcome to bring it.
Cost of Ritual: Sliding scale $19 to $39 (no one turned away for lack of funds)
