The snow has melted (most places) at lake level and spring is finally here, so that means it's time for farmers markets in South Lake Tahoe.
First market to open is the Lake Tahoe Market on Wednesday, May 24 at Kahle Community Park, 236 Kingsbury Grade near the state line from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They will be open on Wednesdays through the summer.
Tuesday's El Dorado County Farmers Market in South Lake Tahoe is slated to open on June 6 and run to October 10. It takes place at the American Legion parking lot from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They are located at 2732 South Lake Tahoe Blvd.
The Ski Run Farmers Market opens for the season on Friday, June 2. They operate through the summer in the middle of Ski Run Boulevard from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m every Friday.
