South Lake Tahoe boat ramp to close early for holidays/special events

The City of South Lake Tahoe boat ramp on at El Dorado Beach will close early during holidays and special events this summer
Holiday and Special Events Schedule
Hours on Thursdays for Live at Lakeview Summer Concerts
Hours for 4th of July Holiday
For Tuesday, July 4th, the boat ramp will open at 8am and close at 4pm. Boats will need to be off the lake by 4pm.
Parking Schedule During Holiday and Special Events
Once the boat ramp launch is closed, the parking spaces will open up and be available to the general public for event parking.
Regular Schedule
The boat ramp is open daily 8am – 6 pm with the last launch at 4:30 pm. The maximum boat length is 23 feet. The boat length is subject to change due to water levels. The boat ramp passes under Lakeview Avenue with a bridge that has a maximum 12 foot clearance. There is limited parking at the launching facility, 38 boat trailer parking spaces with 2 handicapped spaces. Boat Launch Fees
$17.00 for a Day Use Launch
$40.00 for a Commercial Day Use Launch
$138.00 for an Annual Pass
Lake Tahoe does require a boat to receive an inspection before going into the lake. More information can be found online at http://tahoeboatinspections.com/inspection-locations/
