SLT Planning Commission to review airport plan outlining growth and land use

The public is invited to the next meeting of the City of South Lake Tahoe Planning Commission where a draft Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) will be unveiled, outlining anticipated and orderly growth at the airport for the next 20 years.
They will be meeting at the City Council Chambers on Thursday, June 21 at 3:00 p.m.
The ALUCP is a land use document that covers compatibility between the Airport and surrounding land uses review land use development, state and federal regulations, guidance on certain land uses that have the potential to attract hazardous wildlife, drone and other unmanned aerial regulations.
ALUCPs provides for the orderly operation of airports and surrounding areas while safeguarding the welfare of people who live in the airport vicinity and the general public.
