Steph Curry returns to Lake Tahoe for American Century Championship

From the National Basketball Championship to the American Century Championship (ACC), Golden State Warrior Stephan Curry is returning to Lake Tahoe for the 28th annual ACC celebrity golf event July 11-16.

Freshly minted NBA champ and two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, Curry will be making his fifth appearance at the tournament and will be joined once again by his father, Dell. Well known as an accomplished golfer, Curry’s best finish was in 2013 when he led the tournament with seven holes remaining before finishing fourth. Steph’s looking to avenge last year’s one-point loss to his father and another year of trash talk.

Steph is listed at 20-1 by the Harrah’s and Harveys Race & Sports Book and Dell at 30 to 1.

Klay Thompson, Curry's Golden State teammate has had to withdraw from the popular tournament at Edgewood Tahoe due to a scheduling conflict.

Besides the Curry father and son duo, also from the NBA, Cleveland Cavalier Deron Williams is returning to Tahoe as are Wally Szczerbiak, Jason Kidd, Derek Fisher, Vinny Del Negro, Ray Allen and,of course, Charles Barkley.
