Power out to almost 4,000 Liberty customers in South Lake Tahoe

8:40 p.m. update: Crews found a broken cross arm on a power pole near the Y in South Lake Tahoe. They think they'll have the power back by 9:30 p.m. for the remaining customers that are still without power.

6:30 p.m. update: About 1700 SLT customers have had their power restored. Crews are working on the remaining 1700+ customer still out. No est restoration time yet.
5:30 p.m. update: Tahoe Keys and the Y areas of South Lake Tahoe are affected by the power outage. According to Liberty Utilities the cause is unknown. Crews are on site. Prepare for extended outage in meantime as Liberty estimates restoration of services as 8:57 p.m.

Power is out to almost 4,000 customers of Liberty Utilities in South Lake Tahoe. Crews are out in the field trying to determine the cause.
There is no estimated time for restoration of power at this time.
