One arrested after high speed pursuit of shooting suspect in Douglas County

Multiple agencies were involved in the pursuit of a shooting suspect from Reno through Douglas County Monday afternoon.
The driver of a silver Challenger led the Nevada Highway Patrol, Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO), Reno Police Department and the Carson City Sheriff's Office on the pursuit that reached speeds of 120 mph, according to DCSO.
On Sunday, June 30, one person was injured after being shot several times in a parking lot near an auto parts store on South Virginia Street in Midtown Reno. On Monday morning a suspect in the shooting fled from Reno Police. The suspect was then found in Douglas County and the pursuit began.
42-year-old Ronnie Demone Crawford was arrested by DCSO after he lost control of the vehicle. At this time, the suspect is in the process of being booked for charges related to the pursuit as the investigation into the shooting continues.
The victim in the shooting is in stable condition and being treated at an area hospital.
