Multiple lightning-sparked fires in Douglas County, Northern Nevada

Crews are responding to at least three lightning-sparked fires in Douglas County. The fires are located off Leviathan Mine Road and in the Pinenut Mountains at the Sunrise Pass and Mount Segal areas, according to U.S. Bureau of Land Management spokeswoman Lisa Ross.

Here is a news release from Douglas County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Pat Brooks regarding the fires:
East Fork Fire and Paramedic District are responding to several reports of wild land fires within Douglas County.
Additional fire resources have been called from various agencies, Carson, BLM, Antelope Valley, NDF and Mono County. The listed locations are currently being investigated for smoke except otherwise noted. .
#1 Hwy 395 and Leviathan Mine Road, brush fire, size unknown.
#2 East Valley Road and Fish Springs, small brush fire
#3 Pinenut Road near Sierra Spirit Ranch, 2 reports of smoke in this area
#4 Sunrise Pass Road.
Causes to these fires are believed to be lighting caused, at this time no structures are in immediate danger.
