Suspect sought in Douglas County theft

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a theft at the Smith’s Grocery Store in Gardnerville, NV and an unlawful use of a credit card at the Shell Gas Station in Minden, NV.
A woman was shopping at Smith's on June 21 at approximately 5:00 p.m. when she turned away from her cart that contained her purse. A man bumped into her and walked away. A short time later the woman noticed her wallet was missing from her purse.
The victim notified her credit card companies about her stolen credit cards and was advised one of her cards was used at the Shell Gas station in Minden, NV.
The suspect is a white male in his late 50s with graying hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a white tee shirt.
A reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect. Your identity is not needed and you will remain anonymous.
