An early morning accident Tuesday morning on Pioneer Trail just east of Al Tahoe Blvd took out a power pole and downed lines resulting in power being lost to 2,311 Liberty Utilities customers.
Crews have been working since the 3:30 a.m. accident to restore power to those in the Al Tahoe and Montgomery Estates areas.
The power company said power should be restored by 1:30 p.m. The traffic light at Pioneer Trail and Al Tahoe Blvd is out, and one way traffic is being routed around the accident area so crews can reinstall the poles.
