7th Annual Landscape Tour: Vegetable gardens of Meyers highlighted

A free, and self guided tour of various vegetable gardens in Meyers will be held on Thursday, August 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
See how successful local gardeners can be, even with our high altitude and short growing season in the South Lake Tahoe area.
Staff from the Tahoe Resource Conservation District, University of California Cooperative Extension- Lake Tahoe Master Gardeners and residents will be on hand at each location to share tips, success stories and information on how you too can successfully grow vegetables in our mountain environment.
The maps are available at Safe Haven Chiropractic located at 3170 Highway 50 in Meyers anytime from 4:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. on the 21st.
A garden tour is presented each year by the by Tahoe Resource Conservation District and UC Cooperative Extension- Lake Tahoe Master Gardeners.
