Sunny and warm start to the week in South Lake Tahoe; Thunderstorms by Thursday

Some rain and thunderstorms may hit the South Shore by the end of the week, but at this point weather models don't think there is much precipitation associated with them. This biggest chance for rain is on Friday when there is a 50 percent chance of precipitation. The rest of the week is 20 percent chance of rain.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 44. West wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Monday- Sunny, with a high near 82. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night: Clear, with a low around 43. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night:Mostly clear, with a low around 45.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 85.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 45.
Thursday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84.
Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 46.
Friday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
Friday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 45.
Saturday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
