Submitted by paula on Sun, 08/23/2015 - 6:48pm
Event Date:
September 12, 2015 - 9:00am
Paddle all day long on September 12 in memory of a loved one who died of cancer, someone who survived cancer, or just to support the South Lake Tahoe Cancer League.
Stand Up for Cancer will raise funds for the league which is an all volunteer, non-profit organization that offers grants and transportation to local cancer patients. The event is supported by SUP Paddle South Lake Tahoe
Grab your paddle board and meet up at El Dorado Beach (or rent a board for $15). Registration begins at 9:00 and paddling will begin sometime after. The course will be set right off the beach and after paddling, a lunch will be provided courtesy of the Hard Rock Casino.
Enjoy a beautiful late summer day on the beach and support the South Lake Tahoe Cancer League by bidding on some great silent auction items.
The cost is $50 and includes lunch.
For more information, see South Tahoe Cancer League on Face Book, or call 577-5708.
