Jesse Kalin, Cool Black Kettle at Fresh Ketch to drum up kickstarter.com campaign

Three weeks away from hitting a target goal to produce his first solo CD, veteran South Lake Tahoe musician Jesse Kalin is inviting the community to special night gathering of music and friends at the Fresh Ketch, from 6 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012.

Kalin will be performing with his band Cool Black Kettle during the special night appearance. A raffle, and plenty of music are in store. The Fresh Ketch is located at 2435 Venice Dr., South Lake Tahoe in the Tahoe Keys Marina.

Kalin is participating in the kickstarter.com project and is looking to raise $14,000 to produce his first solo CD. Go here to read about Jesse's fundraising effort and join in the cause.

A long time coming, My dream is finally coming true, my first original SOLO CD

Thank you for taking the time to check out my fundraising campaign! My name is Jesse Kalin. I am a singer/songwriter currently living in Lake Tahoe California, performing all over Northern California, the US and Europe. For the past few years I've been writing my new original songs, whether at home or on the road, for my first SOLO CD.

I'm very excited to have this opportunity to involve YOU my friends and fans to help me fulfill my dream of raising $14,000 to fund my new album. Since I am an independent artist with no record label behind me, I've put together a budget plan to make this album:
— FIRST CLASS MUSICIANS: $2,000
— STUDIO TIME: $2,600
— PRODUCTION, ENGINEERING & MIXING: $5,000
— MASTERING THE CD: $2,000
— CD DESIGN & PRESSING: $2,400
If we can raise the funds, I'll be able to make my dream album and
deliver it right to your front door.
