22nd Annual Boys and Girls Club Golf Tournament at Edgewood

Edgewood Tahoe is the home of the 22nd annual Boys & Girls Club Golf Tournament on Monday, October 12. The event raises over $40,000 each year to support the work of the club, which assists more than 600 local kids throughout the year.

This popular day of golf, food and fun normally sells out so early registration is recommended.

For $225, golfers receive a round of golf on the picturesque lakefront layout, plus a gourmet buffet breakfast, beverages throughout the day, $10,000 Hole in One and Closest to the Pin competitions on all four par-3 holes, dinner, raffle prizes, a silent auction and a Grand Prize drawing open to all golfers.

For non-golfers or folks whose schedule is tight but who want to come join the fun and support local youth programs, an exclusive post-round dinner ticket is also available for $25.

"Edgewood Tahoe values the opportunity to host this event annually and help the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe meet their fundraising goals," said Bobby King, Edgewood's General Manager and BGCLT Board Member.

This event also offers two sponsorship opportunities: Hole-in-One sponsorships are available for $1,800 and include a foursome and plenty of on course exposure. Tee sponsorships are also available for $1,500, which includes a foursome, and promotional opportunities. Local businesses are also invited to provide raffle prizes of products, services, meals, overnight stays, rounds of golf, stand-up paddleboard rides, or whatever highlights their particular business. In addition to supporting the Club and making a difference in the community, sponsors also receive solid exposure and recognition for their participation.

All proceeds from this event directly support the year-round operations of the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe. Edgewood Tahoe generously donates the course and facilities for the day. With the funds raised at this event annually, the club is able to provide a safe place for local youth to learn and grow, with life-enhancing programs and character development experiences.
