To the South Lake Tahoe Community:
As a city, we have issues to solve, including leading the City Clerk’s office with knowledge, experience, and strong customer service. If we want to solve the issues facing the City Clerk’s office, we need to elect a City Clerk who you the public, can trust to be responsive to your needs. My name is Ellen Palazzo and I am a candidate for the South Lake Tahoe City Clerk on November 6th. I decided to become a candidate to move the office forward and restore the public’s trust in their City Clerk by working hard all day, everyday and remaining autonomous in order to serve the community in the fair and honest manner you deserve.
As a Certified Municipal Clerk, former 22-year employee of the City Clerk’s office, a Notary Public and a 15-year member of the City Clerks Association of California and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, I am the only candidate with the proven experience to ensure our city government will be open, transparent and responsive to the citizens’ needs. I believe in serving all citizens of the South Lake Tahoe community in a fair and equitable manner.
I have the experience, tested knowledge and the highest integrity to help move our city forward. I respectfully ask for your vote on November 6th.
