Royston Hanamoto Alley & Abey landscape architects and planners has officially opened their South Lake Tahoe office to better serve the Sierra Region. Local landscape architect, Brett Long, has joined the RHAA team to head the new office.
Mr. Long and RHAA teamed together on the El Dorado Beach project at Lakeview Commons that opened June 20. Lakeview Commons’ rejuvenated waterfront with terraced seating was designed to enhance the natural beauty of the area and now serves as a great gathering space for water sports, live music or just enjoying the beautiful scenery.
RHAA is a 54-year-old landscape architecture firm with additional offices in Mill Valley and San Francisco, California. RHAA holds a commitment to creating places that enrich the fabric of their communities. This commitment has led the firm to develop a substantial portfolio of projects that transform spaces into vibrant functional places for people. For each of these projects, RHAA creatively employs sustainable development principles to ensure that design solutions integrate ecological systems, maximize economic benefits, and create places of beauty. The firm’s work ranges from playgrounds to rooftop gardens to streetscapes.
