Yes, some snow is in the Lake Tahoe forecast

It will be a taste of winter through Thursday in Lake Tahoe as temperatures drop and snow is expected to fall, and not just in upper elevations. Snow may be seen down to the 6500 ft level.
The National Weather Service in Reno forecast:
Tonight - Showers. Low around 34. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Thursday - Scattered rain and snow showers before 11am, then scattered rain showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 51. West wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Thursday Night - A 20 percent chance of rain before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light northwest after midnight.
Friday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Friday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 28. East wind around 5 mph.
Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 57.
Saturday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 30.
Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 63.
Sunday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 33.
Monday - Sunny, with a high near 65.
Monday Night - Clear, with a low around 32.
Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 68.
Tuesday Night - Clear, with a low around 37.
Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 69.
