Local resident Brittani Curtis has joined the staff of the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce (Tahoe Chamber) as Communications and Marketing Coordinator.
Curtis is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Journalism. In 2014, she studied at the Intensive Spanish Language Immersion Program at the Universidad de Alicante in Alicante, Spain. Locally, her experience includes an internship with the Reno Aces Baseball Club and work as a program leader at the Boys and Girls Club of South Lake Tahoe. Curtis comes to the Chamber from a position as Group Sales Coordinator with Zephyr Cove Resort.
Her duties at the chamber will involve all channels of communication with members and the community, including social media, blogs, e-blasts and newsletters, press releases, event calendar management, graphic design and web site content. Curtis will help market and promote chamber events, educational workshops, and the full range of chamber programs.
“We’re pleased Brittani has joined our chamber team,” said Interim CEO Steve Teshara in making the announcement. “She is a capable, energetic young professional and this is an excellent opportunity for her to advance her skills and goal of community service.”
