A week full of South Tahoe High homecoming activities wrap up with a parade through town Friday afternoon, football games Friday night and a golf tournament Saturday.
Watch the class floats with their worldly themes, an entourage of elementary school floats, school buses, the Homecoming Court in convertibles and dump trucks full of class and Viking spirit. They leave the bus garage on Al Tahoe Boulevard at Friday at 3:30 p.m. and proceed down Highway 50 to the high school.
The homecoming football games get started with the Freshman hitting the gridiron at 4:30 p.m., followed by Varsity at 7:00 p.m. Both teams play Lowry. Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students; kids under 8 and seniors over 60 are free.
Following an evening of football, South Tahoe Football will be up bright and early Saturday morning for their first fundraising golf tournament on Saturday, September 30 at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
