The Tahoe Arts Project (TAP) is celebrating their 31st year of bringing arts to the South Lake Tahoe community with their annual membership drive. They have a generous donor who will match all donations up to $23,000, and they need your help!
Through fundraising efforts, TAP is working diligently to bring quality performing arts programs into the schools. They are a nonprofit organization and members play a vital role in bringing these performers into the
They need our support to realize their goal of serving over 4,000 K-12th grade students on the South Shore in both California and Nevada. Membership donations and contributions are their biggest funding source. As artist fees continue to rise and grant money continues to decline, TAP depends on your individual support.
The approximate cost to bring one group to the schools and community is between $10,000 - $20,000. This includes artist fee for 11 school assemblies and one public performance and transportation, TAP staff costs to coordinate and facilitate each residency, publicity, general operating expenses and liability insurance.
Check out all of the amazing performers for their 2017-18 Season.
