Give Tahoe, formerly South Lake Tahoe Endowment Fund and a fund of the El Dorado Community Foundation, will continue the ongoing work to deliver important philanthropic funds to the community. This year the challenges facing the community of South Lake Tahoe look different than ever before. With a summer of experience, and the concerns and problem sets that developed over the months, it was determined that a pivot in what Give Tahoe grants to is necessary, timely and well-focused.
Give Tahoe opened its 2020 Pivot Grant process on October 1, 2020. Nonprofits serving the South Shore of Lake Tahoe can now apply for funding.
The focus of the Pivot Grants will be to address the emerging problems that have occurred in the community, providing financial resources to strategies to improve the quality of those that call this place home and clear reasoning and education to those that come to visit.
Click here to apply for a grant of up to $10,000. The grant application will be open until 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 31, 2020.
