October 24, 2015 - 5:30pm
While rain last week may have caused the Tahoe Area Mountain Bike Association (TAMBA) to reschedule their annual Corral Night, an unplanned work party turned a dampened event into a chance to fix up the Corral Trail with the California Conservation Corps.
Over 60 people joined in and the result of their labors will be shown off on Saturday, October 24 when bicycle enthusiasts will enjoy the trail at night, an annual tradition.
Not only will be riders be wearing their favorite, silliest or scariest costume, they'll be riding at night and playing poker as they bike. The ride will be a “poker ride,” meaning there will be healthy competition on who can make the best poker hand after receiving cards at each of the stops along the ride.
The cost is a $20 donation for local trails. They meet at the Corral parking lot. To get there, rurn onto Oneidas Street from Pioneer Trail. The road turns into Fountain Place/Forest Road 1201 and at the end will be the parking lot.
Fore more information, visit the TAMBA website.
