Snow could impact travel in the Sierra on Sunday and in the valleys of western Nevada by Monday. Temperatures will be cold to start the week with well below freezing overnight low temperatures throughout the region.

The snow is expected to begin in the Sierra and Northeast California Sunday afternoon and then spread across Western Nevada by Sunday evening. Light to occasionally moderate snow will continues through Sunday night.
