Camp Rich, Fresh Ketch celebrate Lake Tahoe ski season with annual 'Pray for Snow' bash

Bring your positive vibrations to the ski and snowboard alter Thursday, Nov. 15 for Camp Richardson’s annual “Pray for Snow” party at The Fresh Ketch at the Tahoe Keys Marina in South Lake Tahoe. The party begins at 7 p.m. with live music from Cool Black Kettle, Ike & JT, quirky contests, dancing, food and drink specials.
Locals and visitors unite annually for this event to kick off the South Shore Lake Tahoe ski and snowboard season. Among the festivities that will be celebrated includes two bars, two bands (upstairs and downstairs), the infamous frozen t-shirt contest – the first person to successfully unravel a frozen solid shirt and wear it wins; various giveaways including Sierra-at-Tahoe, Sensational Tans, Sierra Athletic Club, Tahoe Bowl, The Village Board Shop, Camp Richardson; food and drinks specials with the Jager & Patron Girls and plenty of photo opportunities.
