Tahoe Youth & Family Services has been the recipient of some truly amazing kindness from the community in the last few months. We wish to publicly thank our recent grant funders for their incredible contributions to our work in the community: Vail Resorts’ EpicPromise for its contribution to our James Lee Park Summer Program in Carson Valley, which will serve lunches and provide games and educational programming to youth who qualify for free-and-reduced school lunches during the summer months; Barton Foundation for its contribution to our youth substance abuse counseling services in South Lake Tahoe; American Century Championship and the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority for their contribution to support counseling, mentoring, and supportive services for runaway and homeless youth in South Lake Tahoe; and finally El Dorado Community Foundation South Lake Tahoe Endowment for its support of the South Lake Tahoe Girls Project, which provides peer-to-peer mentoring, educational activities, and support to young women in our community.
Your support of these programs is a direct investment in the health and well being of our community. We simply cannot express the depth of our gratitude for your kindness.
