The following is the ski, snowboard and weather report for Thursday, December 10, 2015 for South Lake Tahoe.

Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high of 43 and a low of 27. Day: Rain before 8am, then rain and snow between 8am and 2pm, then snow after 2pm. Temperature falling to around 31 by 5pm. Windy, with a west wind 30 to 35 mph decreasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible. Night: Snow. Low around 27. Southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.

Heavenly - Groomed conditions. California side is now open. 29% of their terrain is now open which means 1400 acres, 17 lifts and 50 runs are open. No new snow in the last 24 hours. The base depth is 24". Lift status. Snow. Temperature falling to around 20 by 4pm. Strong and damaging winds, with a southwest wind 60 to 70 mph decreasing to 50 to 60 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 105 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Groomed conditions on 18 of their 20 open trails. 4 lifts are open. Broadway Terrain Park and Burton Progression Park are open. No new snow in the last 24 hours. The base depth is 6" and the summit is 20". Lift status. Snow. Temperature falling to around 21 by 4pm. Windy, with a south southwest wind 24 to 33 mph, with gusts as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches possible.

Kirkwood - Packed powder. 24% of terrain is now open. 550 of their 2300 acres are open with 5 lifts and 30 runs open. No new snow in the last 24 hours. Lift status. The base depth is 26". Snow. Temperature falling to around 20 by 5pm. Windy, with a south southwest wind 25 to 32 mph, with gusts as high as 48 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 9 to 13 inches possible.
