Heavenly Holiday activities wrap up with fireworks and gondola ball drop

Heavenly Holidays wraps up 2016 with a lot of activities, all at either top or the bottom of the Heavenly Gondola in South Lake Tahoe.
Besides the fresh snow and great ski conditions, there are sleigh rides, free outdoor concerts, and the unique gondola ball drop on New Year's Eve with fireworks.
“Heavenly Holidays is all about getting friends and family together to enjoy the celebratory festivities,” said Pete Sonntag, Tahoe region senior vice president and chief operating officer for Heavenly Mountain Resort. “With fresh snow, ice sculpting, live music and the Gondola ball drop, we are excited to celebrate another amazing New Year with our guests.”
Schedule of Events:
Dec. 26-27 Tamarack Live (Live Music at Tamarack Lodge) 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Dec. 28-31 Ice Sculpting Exhibitions (Located at Heavenly Village) 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. daily
Dec. 28-31 Unbuckle Apres Party (Tamarack Lodge) 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. daily
Dec. 31 New Year’s Celebration 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
o Live Concert featuring Ground Control 7 p.m.
o Ice Sculpting Show
o LED Dance Show
o Gondola Ball Drop and Fireworks Show 9 p.m.
