The audience laughs and then the actors do it again, and the audience laughs again…you get the picture. And so it will go during a night of improvisation theater with Tahoe Improv Players at the Tallac Historic Site on July 3 at 7:30pm.
The Tahoe Improv Players, the longest running comedy show in Lake Tahoe, return to their favorite theater for the 15th summer.

Thunderbird Lodge at Lake Tahoe among several Nevada Tourism grant winners

Grants were awarded to 19 different projects. The announcement was made by Nevada Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki.
NCOT's Projects Relating to Tourism Grants program help fund infrastructure improvements that will attract visitors, and after a temporary suspension due to a decline in tourism revenues, the grants were reinstated this year.

According to Nevada Magazine the totality of the eclipse will last from 6:28 to 6:33 p.m local time in the regions with the longest totality. Though a partial eclipse will be visible across the region, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Pyramid Lake (Where the Symbiosis music festival will be taking place May 17-21) are all directly in the path of the moon's shadow where all of the sun except for a small ring of light will be totally obscured.

Washoe offers sacred name 'Tahnu Leweh' for Lakeview Commons in South Lake Tahoe

Given its 6,000 year history, the Washoe Tribe has presented the name Tahnu Leweh (Pronounced Tah-New Lay-Way) which, in native language, means "all the people's place." It is a name the Tribe would like to gift to El Dorado County and South Lake Tahoe as a symbol of peace, prosperity and goodness, said Darrel Cruz, Culture and Language Director for the Washoe Tribe.
