Volunteers needed for monthly mobile food bank distribution

The Food Bank of El Dorado County is in need of ten volunteers on Wednesday, August 26th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to help with their mobile food pantry. Once a month, the Food Bank of El Dorado County visits South Lake Tahoe with a mobile food pantry to distribute emergency supplemental groceries to those who need it most. Volunteers will be assisting in handing out food and signing people in. The Food Bank of El Dorado County is continually able to provide a six to one return for their donor’s dollar. They have a team of volunteers and community support that help them be successful.
