Dan + Shay and Lake Tahoe is for Lovers latest to be added to Lake Tahoe Outdoor Concert series
Submitted by paula on Tue, 02/20/2024 - 2:52pmTwo new shows have been added to the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harvey's Tahoe: Dan + Shay, and Lake Tahoe is for Lovers. Country music stars Dan + Shay embark on their Heartbreak on the Map Tour this month, and it has been extended into the summer. The three-time Grammy Award winners will have Jake Owen and Dylan Marlowe on the tour with them.
Their Lake Tahoe stop is Sunday, September 15 at 7 p.m. Dan + Shay will be the new coaches on The Voice for the upcoming season.

Five ultra-athletes will retrace the steps of John "Snowshoe" Thompson's inaugural mail route which he began on January 3, 1856, from Placerville, Calif. to Genoa, Nev., 90 miles away and across the snowbound Sierra Nevada.
The Snowshoe Thompson Expedition team will complete their journey over five days and carry a GPS tracker enabling live updates of their progress which followers can track here.

The announcement The Studio dancers would be attending was made one year ago, and since then they have been diligently rehearsing weekly to present original choreography at the festival.

Make sure you stick to the “Go Safely” game plan and choose a sober way to go.
During Super Bowl LVIII weekend (Feb. 10 and 11), SLTPD will have additional officers on patrol looking for drivers suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

The Cheer Team performed exceptionally, earning a well-deserved 3rd place trophy. The Dance Team also shined by competing in multiple categories and capturing two 1st place trophies in the Hip Hop and Pom Dance divisions. Moreover, Madison Cisneros delivered a breathtaking contemporary solo performance that earned her a 3rd place win.

What was that bet you ask?
The Grimes purchased 180 $2 tickets at the Harveys Lake Tahoe sportsbook for the San Francisco 49ers to win the Super Bowl. They made the bets on June 7, so each $2 bet would pay out $17 extra, for a total of $19, with the +850 money line it came with should the 49ers win on Sunday.

The event featured an array of performances by bands Decades from Chico and from NBC’s The Voice, Kristen Brown.
As the clock hit 9 p.m. (midnight in New York), the fireworks display with the gondola coming down the mountain thrilled those watching.

No longer is this pioneering hybrid an ugly can of slow molasses, but instead an attractive and sleek family car with more than adequate performance. I thoroughly enjoyed the first Prius I tested at the beginning of summer, but now we enter the age of the Prime Prius, with plug-in charging capability that'll make you question the practical purpose of owning anything all-electric.

There are also many myths regarding trafficking, which is why educating ourselves is critical. Many believe traffickers are usually strangers to the victim when, in fact, that’s the most uncommon situation.
Current statistics show that around 42 percent of trafficking victims were brought into trafficking by a member of their own families, and 39 percent were recruited via an intimate partner or a marriage proposition.

The first session for 6th - 12th graders begins on January 3, 2024.
The first Wednesday of every month is Crafternoon. For the January 3 session, they'll be making beaded jewelry.
The second Wednesday of every month is Game Guild. For January, they'll have a variety of new and classic board games available.
TubeTahoe adds Neon Night Tubing

The crowds have been coming out to enjoy the daytime tubing, and now the business is adding Neon Night Tubing on some select dates.
Now people can enjoy neon lights, snow tubes, and laughter "that can be heard from space," says Tube Tahoe Co-founder Leon Abravanel.

At Zephyr Point, kids will take an adventure, enjoying all that a week on Lake Tahoe in the winter has to offer! Winter Camp Zephyr is all about creating unforgettable experiences for campers.
Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.
Winter Camp Zephyr will hold many of the same types of activities as Summer Camp Zephyr only with a frosty twist.

The Odeon Saloon in Dayton, Nevada is the location for the next area historical Chautauqua performance, “Those That Survived.”
On Wednesday, December 27 at 7 p.m., the Odeon Saloon continues its Odeon Oldies History series with the Chautauqua by local authors and historians David & Gayle Woodruff as they assume the characters of James Reed and his wife Margret. The Reeds were the original organizers of the infamous Donner Party of 1846.

Polarizing, sure, but let's at least congratulate Hyundai for going with such a bold and striking design. If you happen to hate the style, then you probably won't have made it to even reading a review in the first place, so because you're here, I can assume you are in fact interested in this electrified crossover and therefore a fan of the style. I like it. Some of my friends did. Some didn't.
