South Lake Tahoe Moose Lodge hosts 12th annual Kid's Fishing Derby

The South Lake Tahoe Moose Lodge 12TH Annual Kid’s Fishing Derby is being held this Sunday, September 22, at Tahoe Paradise’s Lake Baron. The Derby is FREE to all children under the age of 16. The lake is being stocked with thousands of trout just for this event.

Don't worry if you don't have fishing equipment: fishing poles, tackle, power bait, and worms are also provided free of charge, or bring your own if you want.

Lots of Raffle Prizes, Prizes for the three biggest fish caught, and FREE Hot Dogs, Chips, Sodas, and Water for all registered children. Registration is from 7:00 am to noon at Lake Baron, near the main entrance, and wraps up at 3:00 p.m.

Please note: to ensure that there are plenty of fish in the lake for the kids, NO FISHING will be allowed on Lake Baron until the day of the Derby.
