Carson Tahoe Expressions Memory Care invites the community to attend a free discussion on Thursday, November 21 from 4 to 6 p.m., led by internationally recognized memory care expert David Troxel, MPH. The interactive session will offer effective techniques and approaches on how to make the holiday season less challenging for loved ones living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

The holidays are a time when family and friends come together and celebrate. But for families living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, this time of year can come with unique challenges. During this free event, Troxel will discuss ways families can support their loved ones, reduce stress and make the holiday season happy and meaningful for everyone.

Troxel is an internationally known expert on memory care and has worked in the Alzheimer’s care field for over 25 years, co-authoring six influential books. His expertise is rooted in the “Best Friends Approach” – a treatment philosophy he helped pioneer that redefines how families and caregivers can enhance the lives of individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
