Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high of 39 and a low tonight of 22. Today: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 5pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 39. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming west in the morning. Little or no snow accumulation expected. Tonight: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 22. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Heavenly - Packed Powder. No New Snow in last 24 hours. 100% of their terrain is open - 4800 acres, 28 lifts and 97 runs are open. Base depth is 75". Lift status. A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 29. Blustery, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Message from Heavenly: Today's forecast is calling for partly sunny skies and 30% chance of snow showers, but mainly after 4 pm. Temperatures should range in the mid-high twenties, with a high near 29°. You can access the mountain from all four base locations – The Heavenly Village Gondola, the CA Main Lodge, Boulder Lodge, and Stagecoach Lodge. Weather permitting; 28 scheduled lifts will run from 8:30 am-4:00 pm, providing access to all 97 Heavenly trails, of which over 50% were freshly groomed overnight. Our groomer’s trail picks of the day are High Five in CA and Nova in NV. We have both terrain parks open today – Groove (14 features), and High Roller (21 features), including the Family Cross course. Tubing will open at 11:00 am at the top of The Gondola. Please note – Mott and Groove lifts will not open until 10:00 am

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Powder/Packed Powder. 3" new snow. They will have 12 lifts open with groomed conditions on 29 of their open 43 runs. Four snow parks are open. Base depth is 60" to 108". Lift status. A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 34. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Kirkwood - Powder/Packed Powder. No new snow. 100% of the mountain terrain is open with 1250 acres, 13 lifts and 86 runs. 92" base. Lift status. A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly after 5pm.
