Tahoe Women's Community Fund has $84,000 to give away to community nonprofits

Applications for $84,000 in grants from the Tahoe Women's Community Fund are now available and will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019. The Angel of Tahoe Lisa Maloff joined others in the group to have such a generous amount to give away this year.

Any non-profit organization that serves the South Shore of Lake Tahoe is welcome to apply to one of the "areas of need" described below. Organizations that received a grant in 2018 from TWCF, are ineligible to apply. Each organization may submit only one application.

$40,000 for Poverty, Housing or Basic Needs (grant requests up to $10,000 each)
$20,000 for Mental Health and Wellness (grant requests up to $10,000 each)
$8,000 for Children and Youth (grant requests up to $4,000 each)
$8,000 for Education and Literach (grant requests up to $4,000 each)
$8,000 for Community, Arts or Culture (grant requests up to $4,000 each)
