Brave the Shave event in South Lake Tahoe to raise funds for kids fighting cancer

The 12th annual Brave the Shave event for children and young adults fighting cancer will be held at Heavenly Mountain Resort's California Lodge in South Lake Tahoe Friday, March 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Everyone is invited to join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, you can be a part of the excitement!
Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation is hosting the annual St. Baldrick's head shaving event. They have raised over $1.8 million for pediatric cancer research and hope to raise another $1 million in the next 4 years and needs community support during this event to help!
The Friday event is free for spectators. $50 minimum pledge to walk away with a shaved head.
There will be firefighters, law enforcement, schools, businesses and many others from the South Lake Tahoe community joining in and getting a shave.
So far, $13,630 of the $100,000 goal has been donated.
