Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high today of 48 and a low tonight of 31. Today: A chance of rain before 10am, then rain, possibly mixed with snow. High near 48. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Tonight: Snow showers likely, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Heavenly - Groomed. No New Snow in last 24 hours. Base depth is 90". Winds will affect operations today so not all lifts will be operating, follow the links before heading up to see what is open. Lift status. Snow, mainly after 11am. High near 40. Very windy, with a south wind 50 to 55 mph, with gusts as high as 85 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Weather permitting, you can access the mountain this morning starting at 9:00am from 2 of our base lodges; California Main Lodge, and Stagecoach Lodge. As of right now we are experiencing some wind holds. All Nevada lifts are on hold with the exception of Stagecoach. The Heavenly Village Gondola is on wind hold as well. Comet, Dipper, Tamarack, Galaxy, Olympic, and North Bowl chairs are on wind hold.

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Packed Powder. No new snow in last 24 hours. They plan to open 9 lifts open with groomed conditions on 30 of their open 44 runs. Six snow parks. Base depth is 66" to 131". Lift status.A chance of snow before 10am, then snow showers, mainly after 10am. High near 41. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 23 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Message from Sierra: We're getting started at 9 am this morning with 8 lifts + tows spinning, accessing 44 open trails, 30 cords, and 6 parks. The forecast is calling for a high around 38 and mostly sunny skies, so If you're heading up today, come prepared with lighter waterproof layers and sunny lenses! Highway 50 is open, however roads are icy so take your time heading up. The forecast is showing nothing but snow for the rest of the week, and it is snowing at the top of the mountain, so get ready for another powder party repeat this weekend! Planning on experiencing Sierra's incredible tree riding today? Be sure to bring a friend along, and don't forget your brain bucket!

Kirkwood - Packed Powder. No new snow in last 24 hours. Plan to have 54% of the mountain terrain open with 1250 acres, 8 lifts and 56 runs. 98" base. Lift status. A chance of snow before 10am, then snow showers, mainly after 10am. Temperature falling to around 27 by 5pm. Breezy, with a south wind 25 to 28 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph.
