The 4th Annual Memorial Celebration in Honor of Sgt. Timothy Smith will be on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Sierra-at-Tahoe. This year we will also benefit Operation Rebound. Celebration of Life Pot Luck after Skiing at the American Legion Post 795 beginning at 4 pm. Music by the Cash Only Band.

Sgt. Smith, 25, of South Lake Tahoe, assigned to the 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), located at Fort Polk, La.; died April 7 2008 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device.

If you are coming up to Sierra-at-Tahoe and want to ski or board or be a foot traveler (go up and down on lift) I need a head count as soon as possible. If you are a veteran you can ski or board for free as Jim Cahill is also doing his event for Operation Rebound. We hope to bring up some disabled veterans and any veteran's who want to ski or board.

If you are coming to Sierra you have to be there by 11:00 at the Aspen Room to get your lift ticket, 11:30 latest as we are loading at up at the bottom of Grandview chair lift at 12:30. Please let me know if you need a lift ticket, if you have a season pass you do not have to get a lift ticket, but still let me know if you are coming and it would be nice if you loaded up with us for the event "In Loving Memory of Sgt. Timothy M. Smith."
Also there will be a website I will share with you soon about Operation Rebound as they are dedicating it in "Loving Memory Of Sgt. Timothy Michael Smith."

Timmy's Facebook page will be on the website. You can get to Timmy's page by going to Sgt. Timothy M. Smith.
